Ministry Partnerships

The CCFOF helps French ministries become financially independent and prosperous so that they are able to fulfill their calling in God and have the flexibility to follow the leading of His Spirit more completely.

Through our Ministry Partnership program, the CCFOF has two concrete objectives. First, we help the ministry receive strategic financial support to stimulate growth. Secondly, we provide ministries with technical assistance so that they can inspire Biblical generosity within their own support base.

All ministries wishing to participate in the foundation’s ministry partnership program must complete a Ministry Parternship Application (in French) and then be approved by a majority of the CCFOF’s Board of Directors.

The most important section of this application is the proof of being a legally recognized association by the French government. The CCFOF does not enter into partnership with individuals or with ministries that are not recognized by the French government.

Once a ministry is approved for inclusion in the Ministry Partnership program, they become an Active Partner and, if appropriate, included in our Ministry Portfolio.

Active Partnerships

As an active partner of the CCFOF, the foundation’s staff will actively help the ministry to apply for grants within the American philanthropic community and act as a fiscal sponsor for the ministry. The ministry will also be placed on the CCFOF Ministry Prayer List.

The foundation will assist the ministry in:

  1. identifying potential grant leads.

  2. making contact with potential grantors/foundations.

  3. translating grant application information, if necessary.

  4. assembling required documentation necessary for submission.

  5. understanding and entering into a fiscal sponsorship agreement with the CCFOF.

  6. submitting grant applications on behalf of the ministry.

  7. following up with grantors/foundations once the ministry’s application has been submitted.

  8. advising the ministry on required reports should a grant be awarded.

Ministry Portfolio Inclusion

In addition to active partnerships, some ministries may be included in the Foundation’s Ministry Portfolio. Ministries selected for the portfolio will usually have a project that is not able to be funded through foundation grants or be particularly attractive to individual donors.

For each approved project, the Foundation will assemble a Project Profile Report for the ministry to share with potential donors who may wish to establish funding vehicles to support the ministry or donate directly to the project.

The CCFOF also offers Donor Advised Funds whose assets and income may be used to fund qualified ministries.
