Ministry Partnerships

The Christian Community Foundation of France (CCFOF) desires to help French ministries become financially self-sufficient in order that they might achieve the fullness of their calling in God and have the flexibility to follow the leading of His Spirit more completely.

Therefore, the ultimate objective in establishing Ministry Partnerships is to encourage and facilitate self-sufficiency through strategic financial assistance and fund development education.

All ministries wishing to participate in the foundation’s ministry partnerships must complete a Ministry Partnership and Grant Application [ cliquez ici pour la vérsion française] and then be approved by a majority of the CCFOF’s Leadership for inclusion in the foundation’s Ministry Partnership program. Some key points of information that are required in the Application follow:

  1. Proof of active operations in France. E.g., rent statements, electricity bills, bank statements, etc.
  2. A signed declaration of agreement with the CCFOF’s Statement of Faith.
  3. Official recognition as either une association cultuelle and/or culturelle.
  4. Official statement of faith of the ministry.
  5. Proof of membership in a national federation of churches.
  6. References from 2 pastors who have personally known the ministry’s leader at least one year.
  7. A list of church or ministry board members, elders or other leaders who are officially a part of the ministry’s leadership.
  8. Three ministry publications that are less than a year old (church program, outreach material, newsletters, etc.

Once a ministry is approved for inclusion in the Ministry Partnership program, there are two types of partnerships that are possible:

I. Active Networking Partnership
As an active networking partner of the CCFOF, the foundation’s staff will actively help the ministry to apply for grants within the American philanthropic community. The ministry will also be placed on the CCFOF Prayer Networking list and thus be incorporated into the CCFOF’s prayer strategy.

The foundation will assist the ministry in the following specific areas:

  1. identifying potential grant leads.
  2. making contact with potential grantors/foundations.
  3. translating grant application information, if necessary.
  4. assembling required documentation necessary for submission.
  5. completing an equivalency determination affidavit, if necessary.
  6. submitting grant applications on behalf of the ministry.
  7. following up with grantors/foundations once the ministry’s application has been submitted.
  8. submitting all relevant reports should a grant be awarded and such reports should be required.

II. Ministry Portfolio Inclusion

In addition to active networking partnerships, some ministries may be included in the Foundation’s Ministry Portfolio. Ministries selected for this portfolio must demonstrate a higher level of effectiveness or uniqueness in mission than those qualifying for the Active Networking Partnerships.

Specifically, in addition to the Ministry Partnership requirements, ministries wishing to be featured in the Foundation’s Ministry Portfolio must submit a summary of the unique aspects of their work. Upon a review of this summary and approval by the majority of the Foundation's Leadership, the ministry will be included in the Foundation’s Ministry Portfolio

For each approved ministry, the Foundation will assemble a Ministry Profile Report for the ministry to share with potential donors who may wish to establish funding vehicles to support the ministry. Specifically, the CCFOF offers public and private Donor Advised Funds whose assets and income may be used to fund qualified ministries.
