In 2008 , PrayforFrance.org welcomed over 2,500 visitors (Click here for 2008's results!).
In 2009, we almost tripled that number with over 6,800 visitors!
Of those, 643 let us know that they had committed to pray for France during the 21 Days of Prayer and began receiving our weekly e-mails. Many ordered the guide and we received many encouraging testimonies (see below)!

But what happened in France during this time of intercession?
As many of the testimonies state, much that happened is internal change. But we also believe that there have been real events that have been supernaturally influenced!
Please find below several news articles that give us a small perspective on what God was doing during our time of prayer. We know that there are many, many more ways in which God has been moving - these are just a few!
We would also like to thank World Trumpet Mission that came alongside us this year to encourage people to go into deeper prayer with their free on-line prayer course!
I experienced a renewed passion for intercession not only for France but for other nations as well. I was moved to begin to study France’s church history and I believe that God established and is still establishing a great spiritual revival in France through these 21 days of prayer. In a dream I saw peoples crying out to God & I know He's answering.
I had a vision about France. There was very dark in France but then there was a big river flowing to France. I believe it means God's moving.
I believe there will be a BIG revival there. Amen!
I am focusing this time to pray for France and I know the Lord has a big plan for France to be the leader of the EU to bring the Salvation to all Europe.
I received many words from God over France concerning revival & France's involvement. It gave me a new picture of how big this really is and how we need to be praying for each other - that God's plan involves all nations. I found myself more involved in France news and now listen to France 24 daily.
This is my 2nd year in praying for France and again I felt so much joy in doing so. Praying in agreement with a larger group of Christians, each us with the same heart and accord is very moving and enriching. Exposing cultural and intellectual strongholds to the light of prayer was particularly important and I believe this needs to continue.
I sensed a sweet presence of the Lord and His great love for France. I sense a future for France, one of great signs and wonders beginning to rain down.
When we were praying we were directed by the Holy Spirit to pray for godly leaders in French politics because when Israel had a godly king it produced an awakening in the nation and brought about repentance the opposite was true when an ungodly king ruled. An awakening with signs and wonders like in USA 1830'S. Deut.28 Covenant Blessings on France.
Very great it was wonderful to participate with others. I was reawakened to the move of God in France and the need to pray more for the country that God has burdened my heart for more than 25 years. I will want to join next year also.
I've prayed for France on my own for over 30 years. I spent 1 yr in Dijon and God gripped my heart for France ever since. I finally was able to return on a mission trip in 2007. Since then, the fire for France has not gone out. I'm so glad to have discovered this network of believers who, too, share a heart for this wonderful nation and her people.
I work in Paris with a local church and a parachurch organization. We have seen many people engaging with Jesus Christ and his work, but we have also seen spiritual battles. Two Christian workers have are in the United States for cancer treatment and others entered Paris area hospitals with life threatening illnesses. The enemy is not sleeping.
I recalled a number of people and experiences from my semester in France many years ago -- those recollections played a key role in my prayers for specific people and places. I also read some of the material in French on the Objectif France site which was helpful in refreshing my understanding of the French people.
God really gave me the desire to pray more for my husband’s relatives in France. I prayed fervently for the gospel to be presented to them and for these relatives to receive Christ. I will continue praying for the nation of France and for my husband’s relatives.
The big news events during the time of prayer were France's re-entry into NATO after 40 years and the millions of people who took to the streets in revolutionary-style protest against Sarkozy.
Less publicized but just as significant was the $1.4 million Templeton prize that went to a French physicist who proved that science cannot reveal anything certain about "the nature of being."
